Kaitlyn Anne Vincie, born December 10, 1987 Kaitlyn Anne Vincie, born on December 10, 1987, is an American journalist and sports anchor. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing began when she was issued an entry pass to the pit lane, and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she was a reporter at Langley Speedway. She gained attention after her own video blogs on NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton when Vincie was in high school. Vincie is the eldest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's mother, Eleanor N. Logan was a teacher in the fifth grade as well as her grandfather who was part of the faculty of Bridgewater College. Since her early years she showed an interest in journalism. Vincie completed her studies at Fauquier High School, in the year 2006. Vincie was a track and field athlete and also served as the coach of the school’s wrestling team for four years. Vincie won in the 800-meter race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and gave Vincie many details. She received a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern at the Athletics Department of the university. Vincie also held a similar job at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote a dissertation for her senior year on the gender gap in auto racing that focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became fascinated by the sport when she got a pitlane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her models are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
