Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress. Her roles include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand, on Syfy's short-lived science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her sci-fi series Continuum. Recently, she was a part of Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is from Polish descent and spent the entire year in Poland in the 9th grade. She lived in Poland along with her uncle. She also attended an institution in Jelenia Gora. She then went on to pursue a degree at Vancouver Film School. When her brother introduced her to the Pulp Fiction, she became interested in acting. She began her acting career with the 2002 film Jeremiah and John Doe. In 2007-2009 she was the character Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. She starred in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film in 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular on the series) in the television drama Caprica with Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her following film. In 2012, she appeared as the guest star on Jane Espenson's second season, romance web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum. She also played Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film produced by Eli Roth. Although it was filmed in 2012, The Green Inferno was worldwide made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science-fiction thriller film Volition. It was released on the 20th of February 20, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
