Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. Her TV show The Last House Remaining on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30, 2012. The show also has her as on camera meteorologist, and the co-executive director. Her book EXTREME Winter was published by Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider was an all-day, week-long special assignment journalist who covered the entertainment industry and lifestyle. The previous job she held was the weekend meteorologist at WFOR-TV, Miami. She worked in a variety of reports and meteorology jobs, such as News 12 Long Island (a 24-hour cable television news network) and WXII-TV in Winston-Salem. The other position she worked in was an occasional fill-in at The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
